“I want to thank you for allowing your performers to visit the students at Tanaka Elementary. The overall presentation was simply brilliant and quite frankly one of the best I have ever seen.”

Enriching quality of life through creative music programming.
Notes with a Purpose seeks to enrich the quality of life for a diverse range of communities through creative music programming.
Notes with a Purpose’s mission is to produce engaging, high-quality musical experiences through concerts, educational programs, and outreach projects to cultivate life-long appreciation of the arts.
The Music JuiceBox Series
The series is a made-for-kids program which introduces young ears to classical music in a fun and explorative environment. It promotes a love for music while encouraging life-long creativity and artistic growth through abstract and creative thinking, teamwork, and exposure to the arts. The MJBS has a tour each semester which impacts over 1,200 students at elementary schools (of which half are designated Title One schools).
A public concert finishes the end of each tour, encouraging parents to bring their children under 10 years old to enjoy classical music. Stay tuned for a public Music JuiceBox concert in Spring 2017.
Carnegie Hall's Lullaby Project (future programming)
This project strengthens the bond between child and parent by creating musical experiences for pregnant women and new mothers who are facing challenging circumstances (young mothers, homelessness, and incarceration). The project invites participants to work with musicians to write a personal lullaby for their babies. The project is augmented with a recording of the workshop’s resulting lullabies and a concert for families.
NWP also provides classical music performances inside hospital facilities, reinforcing positive healthcare messages. Targeted healthcare facilities include hospices, retirement facilities, and hospitals.
Wednesdays Live at the Mission
High school music students are provided opportunities to develop altruism, community awareness, confidence in public speaking, and satisfaction in their own artistic endeavors by performing at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission (a homeless shelter, food pantry, and recovery program in downtown Las Vegas). The Mission benefits from a regular performance series for their visiting and regular clients (including those in the addiction program) during their dinner services every Wednesday.

Las Vegas Music and Wine Festival
The Las Vegas Music and Wine Festival is a multi-sensory experience that brings high-quality classical music performances to audiences while they enjoy wine specifically paired to the music. Further, the Festival brings concerts outside traditional concert halls into unique, intimate spaces. In short, the classical music concert experience is repackaged to be approachable, accessible, and fun.
Las Vegas Music and Wine Festival Pop-Up Series
Throughout the Notes with a Purpose season, the LVMWF Pop-Up Series takes place around the city. In addition to enriching the cultural scene in the Las Vegas valley, these events are also intended to raise awareness and funds for Notes with a Purpose’s important outreach and educational endeavors.
