“Alexandria Le is a warm, animated, hypertalented young pianist whose greatest asset is her ability to communicate."
— Boston Musical Intelligencer
"If you want to cook like the Rich and Famous visit Artisanal Foods and load up on some of the world's most intriguing and lavish ingredients."
— Robin Leach, author of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous
The inaugural Pop-Up Wine and Music Concert kicks off with our own Executive Artistic Director Alexandria Le, whose musical career has brought her to being named a Yamaha Artist - one of fewer than 80 named classical pianists internationally to have this distinction. Also an international award-winning artist, Alexandria is showcased in an epic program which includes Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition for solo piano. Joining her for a special guest appearance is acclaimed Canadian cellist and former principal of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Lee Duckles, in the Rachmaninoff Cello Sonata.
Of course, our signature is that the wine is paired to the music. This is done by our Sommelier-in-Residence, Jaime Smith, a leading expert in the world of wine who has been twice-named “The Best Sommelier in America" by Food and Wine Magazine. He was also former wine director of MGM Grand and Caesars Palace and Director of Communications and Education for Southern Wine and Spirits.
Jaime's “super-power"?? He's synesthetic: he sees colors and shapes when he tastes or smells.
