Dr. Alexandria Le

President & Artistic Director

Dr. Alexandria Le is the President & Artistic Director of Notes with a Purpose, where she leads the organization’s artistic vision, strategic direction, and program development. A concert pianist and arts leader, she brings a deep belief in music’s capacity to foster connection, healing, and meaningful community engagement.

Alex is guiding Notes with a Purpose’s next chapter with Lullaby Project – Southern Nevada as its flagship initiative, building partnerships across the arts, healthcare, social services, and education. Her leadership reflects a commitment to programs that are both artistically excellent and deeply responsive to the needs of families and communities.

Matt Herndon

Development & Communications Officer

Matt Herndon serves as Development & Communications Officer for Notes with a Purpose, bringing more than a decade of experience in donor relations, advancement communications, stewardship and arts-centered nonprofit leadership. Prior to joining NWP, Matt worked in advancement at Indiana University, where he managed donor accounts, tracked gifts, prepared donor communications, supported gift agreements and helped strengthen donor recognition and stewardship systems.

Matt also brings a deep background in the performing arts, including leadership with the Society of American Fight Directors and work as a fight choreographer for theatre, opera and film. His blend of fundraising expertise, communications experience and artistic understanding supports Notes with a Purpose as it builds meaningful partnerships, expands community support and advances programs that harness the transformative and healing power of music.

Ryan Perez-Carrillo

Clinical Advisor & Early Childhood Development Consultant

Ryan Perez-Carrillo, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, M.M. (Voice), serves as Clinical Advisor & Early Childhood Development Consultant for Notes with a Purpose, helping shape the Lullaby Project – Southern Nevada as an arts-based program informed by early childhood development and relational health.

He is a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in early intervention for infants and toddlers, focusing on communication, feeding, and caregiver-supported development through play-based, family-centered approaches. Ryan has extensive experience working with children with diverse developmental profiles, including communication delays, autism spectrum disorder, and complex medical needs. In addition to his clinical work, he is a classically trained vocalist with degrees in Vocal Performance from Miami University (Ohio) and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Peter Goomroyan

Program Systems & Impact Fellow

As Program Systems & Impact Fellow for Notes with a Purpose, Peter supports the development of evaluation frameworks and internal systems for the Lullaby Project – Southern Nevada. Drawing on his background in client relations, business development, and the arts, he is particularly interested in how mission-driven organizations can build thoughtful infrastructure to better serve their communities and communicate meaningful impact.

Peter is a Master’s student in Nonprofit Management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a multifaceted musician, educator, and former banking professional. With over seven years of performance experience in the Las Vegas community, he brings a unique blend of artistic insight and business acumen to his work. He holds a B.M. in Music Performance from UNLV.

Ayla Le

Grants & Development Associate

Ayla serves as Grants & Development Associate for Notes with a Purpose, supporting the organization’s fundraising, research, and strategic development efforts. Her work includes grant research and writing support, impact-oriented research, and helping build the partnerships that strengthen the organization’s long-term growth.

Ayla brings her passion of assisting organizations focusing on homeless populations, experience in research on systemic social issues, and its intersection of healthcare. She brings intellectual curiosity, initiative, and a strong commitment to mission-driven work, helping advance programs that support families through music, care, and community collaboration. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Washington.
